Landgoed - AVIGNON

Wij zijn zeer blij met de keuze van dit vakantiehuis. Eerst en vooral om het vriendelijke onthaal, de gastvrijheid van de gastvrouw, en de vele attenties die we vonden bij het aankomen ( frigo gevuld, brood en kaas en wijn voorzien en fruit) ongelooflijk, nog nooit meegemaakt . Het appartement is picobello, volledig gerenoveerd naar de normen van deze tijd, alles is voorzien : de bedden zijn zelfs opgemaakt ,handdoeken voorzien, alle huisraad.Een eigen tuin , eigen terras, privé parking.( zonder extra kosten)De inrichting getuigt van een heel fijne smaak, tot in de kleinste details. Het is ook zeer goed gelegen om uitstappen te doen, je moet wel over een auto beschikken. Het is zeer moeilijk te vinden daar de gps de rue niet herkende dus beter avenue de l' amandier. Enig min puntje was dat de signaalsterkte van internet te zwak was .Als we de volgende keer in de streek zijn kiezen we zeker opnieuw voor dit prima logement. Een aanrader ! Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Les Airis d'Avignon. C'était vraiment superbe!Nous étions reçus le soir de l' arrivée par la propriétaire, la sympathique Isabelle. Un chaleureux acceuil, toutes sortes de proviand était là à notre disposition: du pain, fromage,du vin, des fruits et tas de choses dans le frégirateur. Incroyable. Les lits étaient fait , les serviettes de douche disponibles( sans aucun frais). Toute la maison est décorée d' un goût si fin, jusqu'au petit détail.J' en etais ravi!La maison est rénovée au normes de la vie moderne. La maison est très bien situé, on a même un privé jardin, un parking de voiture privé. On se sent tellement à l' aise. Il faut quand même un auto pour faire toutes les découvertes dans les environs. Nous avons visité Avignon, la merveille, l' Isle sur la Sorgue, Vaison la Romaine, Gordes, Roussillon, et le Mont Ventoux. Nous , gens du Nord, nous avons profités de quelques jours ensolleilés. Nous y retournons encore bien sûr. Et mon mari sûrement pour le poire William de Robert, nous offert le dernier soir.!! Un petit point minus est le signal de internet n'était pas assez fort! Un appartement à recommandé. Une maison au grand coeur.

"Muy bien todo. La propietaria es una persona muy amable y servicial. La casa es perfecta, decorada con gran esmero y gusto y con toda clase de equipamiento. Incluso había preparado cena y teníamos toda clase de productos frescos en la nevera, así como cafe, huevos, quesos etc Ideal para recorrer la zona de Avignon."

"If you want somewhere nice to stay in Avignon that's inexpensive, this is a very good choice. It's a bit easy to miss initially as it's behind an industrial estate. We stayed Friday night until Tuesday morning and we only had noise from the business over the back fence on the Tuesday morning. While the accommodation is not within the walled city area, it is a 10 minute drive to the free car park (Italiennes) where there is a free bus to the centre of town (5 minutes). The 2 bedrooms, shower and toilet are upstairs while the kitchen/dining/lounge area is downstairs, adjacent to another room in which there is a small washing machine as well as another toilet. There is a covered outdoor eating area as well as some sun lounger chairs, a small outdoor clothesline and space to BBQ, which being Australians, we did use in the gorgeous weather we had. There is ample car parking space which is outdoors (but behind the Les Airis gates). This place is the most well stocked I have stayed at in France. This went beyond the bottle of wine on arrival and oil in the pantry type of stuff. We had a platter of fruit (a pineapple, grapes and pears) awaiting us as well as salad greens in the fridge, eggs, gsrlic, onion, specialty meats, baguette and a small bottle of a local aniseed liqueur. I felt guilty using it all given we were only paying 440 Euros (4 nights). We were met on arrival by Isabelle and Robert and Isabelle showed us where everything was in the apartment. They live next door but kept to themselves once the introductions were over. We approached them for matches for the BBQ and came back with equipment to make orange presse and also Robert's GPS to loan for the duration of our stay. This really was quite an amazing place to stay! The apartment has everything you need and the IKEA dishwasher worked fine. It is tastefully decorated in an 'eclectic' style but it does look good. My only improvement wish would be that the beds in the master room were not also from IKEA as I find them uncomfortable. Summary: I have no hesitation in highly recommending this as a fantastic base for Avignon and surrounding areas. Sightseeing tip: if you are into Roman buildings, make the 24km trip to Orange to see Le Theatre Antique. It is amazing and the way it is presented is very well done. We enjoyed this much better than Palais des Papes actually."
